Account Restrictions / Payment Hold Help
Summary: laura_20 is facing ongoing issues with their eBay account restrictions due to a large sale. Although all necessary documentation and tracking information were submitted, and restrictions were initially lifted, problems with a postal scan error have resurfaced, causing another hold on their account. Despite the buyer leaving positive feedback, the system still shows the item as uncollected, affecting current sales and refunds. laura_20 is seeking advice on resolving these issues that are beyond their control.
I am hoping someone has seen this before. My account was restricted several weeks back because of a large sale. Ebay did their due diligence and asked to see ID and National Insurance and all tracking numbers for order pending. All were submitted and restrictions lifted. The order that triggered the restriction (£3,800) had a delivery issue. Item was sent to a collection point and the buyer picked up and was happy / left feedback. However, the post office Never scanned it properly and it still shows ready for collection. Even though the buyer has left feedback. Fast forward to this week, when I sold another item then the buyer wanted to send it back. Which was fine. I got the item back today and issued a refund. The refund came from the £3,800 order that funds became available all of a sudden. I then had another order placed and cancelled, fund used from eBay for that. So now I have owing to be £3,600. But in the process there is another hold on the account. It's about tracking numbers and it's listed three orders. One is being shipped now and should be delivered on the next few days. One order they have listed was delivered three weeks ago. And the third... you guess it, the order that Post Office scanned in wrong. Even though eBay has closed that order and released funds and buyer has left feedback. They are restricting my account for something I can't really fix.
