Account restriction
I submitted a form like ebay asked me know regarding closure of my husband's account due to him passing away. I now have a restriction on my account. I haven't asked for my account to be closed. There is no way you can speak to ebay. It's awful trying to get them to sort this out.

I noticed you said you have a restriction on your account, but you did not say the reason?
This may be an eBay confusion if you are using your Husband's account to send messages like this one when the account is in the process of being closed.
Good idea of the other member to contact a live agent. I would say to the Agent that there has been a mix up and you want to keep your account but find it has been restricted and ask them to guide you.

Mentor2 months agoSo sorry to hear your situation , but do try and get a live agent to speak to. It's not easy.
Contact eBay Customer Services it's not easy, as said, nowadays to get a live agent , but some have had success using the app, otherwise keep typing in ' I wish to speak to an agent' and this too can work.
Use this link to contact CS, if you can try at 8 a.m. on a weekday morning also more chance there for Dublin to answer.
