Accidentally sent an item to a buyer who is refusing to return it

Question

I have accidentally sent 2 items to one person. It seems that the QR code was scanned twice.

I have confirmation that both items had been delivered. So the buyer has the item that he paid for. But also has the other item he did not pay for.

I have messaged the buyer who has denied receiving this despite photographic evidence.

What can I do?

Sorry but ebay will not help with this.

You would have to pay for return postage, but obviously need co-operation of buyer. Perhaps he thinks you expect him to pay for return.

You could with his agreement make a partial refund to cover return postage.

As said in other answer this is between you and buyer ebay will not get involved.
