About Scammer
Summary: abogo65 shared their experience of being scammed while attempting to purchase a mobility scooter, noting that the seller promised delivery but did not follow through after receiving payment. They sought assistance from their bank and the Citizens Advice Bureau, but were advised that funds transferred via bank transfer are typically irrecoverable. john1297576 recommended consulting a solicitor, as the chance of retrieving the money is slim. abogo65 expressed frustration and difficulty due to their disability, which complicates seeking further help.

Mentor2 weeks agoYou need to consult a solicitor, as your chances of getting any money back are very remote.
Making a payment by bank transfer is effectively giving your money away.
