A refund that I did not request for
I have ordered an asahi bottle opener I thought everything was all good and well and I then get a notification from my bank and an email saying my order has been refunded. I had not known about any refund if there was any problem. My order still says it’s being posted yet I have been refunded can someone help me please 🙏

Mentor3 weeks agoWas the reason given for the cancellation and refund as ' Buyer Requests to Cancel?
If so, the seller has used this ' excuse' , because it fully refunds you and does not damage their seller account with any defects.
If this is the case all you can do if you wish, is to contact Customer Services explain you did not request a refund and cancellation, and were disappointed not to receive your item.
You will not know of any action taken, but they may well place that damaging defect on the seller's account. eBay do not like unhappy buyers.
It's not easy to contact an agent at CS, but go to Help & Contact top left of your eBay homepage, and keep typing in... speak to an agent , it can take quite a few attempts!
Best times are around 8 a.m. on weekdays when there's more chance of Dublin answering.

OP3 weeks agoThank you for the reply I will give the agent a try. There was no reasoning for the refund it just occurred out of the blue.
