I thought I'd try it here!
After the seller was on holiday until 20th Jul!!
I messaged him once on there, WAITED TIL 20TH JUL, then i messaged him again, in the 20th....then I messaged AGAIN last night.....but now the case is closed.
Low and behold, I thought eBay was indirectly involved with the case.
But it turns out they are!

Mentor3 weeks agoIf you opened an eBay item not received claim or a return because you received a damaged or not as described item, you must escalate the claim within a specific timeframe. If nobody escalates and there's no activity, the request is generally automatically closed after 21 business days from when it was opened.

Mentor3 weeks agoA case closes if a buyer does not escalate on time or it's opened outside the 30 day MBG , Money Back Guarantee period. You never need to message a seller, you just need to deal with the timelines of the case opened.
Can you give us some details of why the case was opened. Was it for item not received . not as described ? Perhaps your payment provider can now help with your refund.

The seller put "take to any post office" and was I tried on MULTIPLE occasions!!
Ah yes! That's the case!
