A buyer is asking for a refund after collecting the item and been in her possession for 8 days.
Summary: yakacikli is experiencing an issue with a buyer who claims a heavy trolley they sold was damaged. The buyer picked up the item in mint condition and contacted yakacikli eight days later to assert the damage. Despite offering a full or partial refund, the buyer has filed a return request via eBay. *vyolla* advises that the buyer can open a return case, and yakacikli may need to arrange and cover the return cost.
Hello
I am new to this board I have slight issues with a buyer. I have sold a heavy trolley in mint condition which I have only used once and stored for several years in my studio.
She picked it up and and examined it and decided to take it on the train. 8 days later she contacted me on WhatsApp and intimated that it was damaged Shen she picked it up I have offered to full refund if she returned it or partial refund in our conversations through WhatsApp and finally asked what she wanted, she logged a return request via Ebay.
My question is where do I stand
I sold something in mint condition and been told that it was not damaged when she picked it up.
I could not ship it hence it was collection only, how can I get it back?
It was not damaged when it was picked up and where do I stand proving that and getting it back?
Thanks

Mentor3 weeks agoUnfortunately, in this case, your buyer is in a position to open an eBay return and you'll need to arrange and pay to get your trolley back.
What's the reason selected for the return?
