501 Scam
Has anybody else experienced this? I ordered a pair of 501s believing I would be safe as it is ebay. The jeans arrived in the wrong size. I was away at Christmas and returned them on my return from my trip. Seller received jeans but did not refund. They appear to think they can profit by keeping both payment and product. First of all this is a warning to others about the supplier and secondly I would be interested who else has experienced this?

if you had opened a return through Ebay within 30 days of receiving the jeans, and followed up promptly, you would have got a full refund.
I assume you left it too late to open a return through Ebay and just made an arrangement with the seller.
When did you actually receive the jeans?
Did you open a return through Ebay?

OP5 months agoYes, I received them in the wrong size, returned them but the seller then kept jeans and payment. They can't have both, it is a scam. If they keep the money then I need the product or visa versa.

There is nothing you can do through Ebay unless you opened a return within 30 days of receipt, that's why I have repeated those questions.
Otherwise, you will have to pursue the seller for your refund.

Mentor5 months agoIt's time that matters here.
You have 30 days to report an item not as described or not received, timed from the last estimated date for delivery.
If this time has lapsed , you cannot turn to eBay for help with a refund, but your payment provider may help you here ask them.

Mentor5 months agoIf you opened a proper return case, NOT AS DESCRIBED, seller has to provide a reply paid label.
If you just returned, with tracked proof of delivery, if seller does not respond, then after 3 days you escalate to ebay who would force a refund.
Unless you open a case within the 30 days allowed, and follow correct procedure then you will not get a refund.
