£5 Royal Mail charge
Hi, I had sold a couple of items, and along with postage it came to £3.84. When the customer received their items they had to pay a £5 charge due to no postage being paid.. I had paid the postage ie Stamp.. as this is not the customers fault I want to refund the £5 charge. My query is, I can refund £3.84 (Which I’ve done) but it doesn’t allow more… Does anyone know how I can send the remainder? Thank you

Mentor6 months agoYou should be able to issue a partial refund from the item price via the dropdown menu for the item on your sold list. If it's more than the item you'd have to send as a payment using something like Paypal and for that you'd need the buyer's email address.

OP6 months agoThank you for replying… I’d issued a full refund but that was only for
£3.84, I was just hoping there could be a way for sending the remainder
through eBay. I did think about PayPal but that would also depend on them
having an account.
I’ll message them and see what they say..
Thank you
