5 items I shipped last month have not arrived and tracking not updated - no support from ebay
I’ve been selling on eBay since 2004. It might be time to call it a day, because I’m losing money on every sale since Promoted Listings were introduced. I’m also a full-time pay-per-click ads manager, so I know I’m giving it a proper go and doing things correctly. The problem is that items don’t sell at all without Promoted Listings now — and with ads, they sell but I lose money.
That’s not the main reason I’m posting, though. I’m posting because 5 of the many items I shipped last month have not arrived. I purchased Royal Mail labels through eBay, but the tracking hasn’t even recorded the parcels as posted. I’ve checked with the post office and they say everything is normal on their side. My customers are now complaining and requesting refunds.
I’m trying to contact eBay support, but the automated chat is simply a loop and doesn’t give me a way to speak to anyone — it just throws an error. I’ve noticed this happens during the day, but at around 2am GMT the chat works. However, I’m not going to discuss lost parcels with support in South America at 2am from my bed.
