Return Request Question
Summary: ineptsaiyan received a refund request for a vintage video game due to the buyer's change of mind. However, they are hesitant to accept it since the item's condition affects its resale value, and there's no guarantee it will be returned in the same condition. jonatjonatjonat and **peaseblossom** both reassured ineptsaiyan that as a private seller, they are not obligated to accept returns for a change of mind, especially if the item was sold with a 'No returns accepted' policy. They also suggested advising the buyer to resell the item themselves.
I've had a refund request for one of my items, which normally id be open to, however in this case the item is was a vintage video game and there's no way to know if I'll get the item back in the same condition that I sent it in.
The buyers reason was "changed my mind".
As mentioned before, I'd normally be open to this, but because the item is quite delicate and the condition of the item drastically impacts the value that I could relist it for, I'm inclined to decline the request.
Any advice?

·1 month agoYou are a Private Seller - so there is no reason you can't reject the return reason for change of mind provided the item was listed with No returns accepted at the time of the sale.
