Can I Give Team Access to a Pakistan-Based Account Manager on My UK eBay Seller Account?
Summary: forbc-94 inquires about granting Team Access to a Pakistan-based account manager for their UK eBay seller account, highlighting concerns about potential issues with account verification and permissions. electro-gsm-com shares a cautionary experience of having their account suspended after hiring a manager from Pakistan, suggesting it might be risky. saj055 advises that access could be safely shared for tasks like listing creation and customer service, but cautions against allowing management of stock and store health.
Hi everyone,
I have a UK eBay business seller account registered under my UK company. The account is around 1.5 months old and is still quite new.
I am based in the UK, but I would like to have an account manager based in Pakistan manage the day-to-day eBay operations for me.
I understand that eBay has the official Team Access feature, so I would use that rather than sharing my main account password.
My questions are:
Is it okay to give Team Access to a manager who is based in Pakistan while the eBay business account is registered in the UK?
Could this cause any issues, restrictions or verification problems on a relatively new seller account?
Are there any specific permissions I should or should not give to the manager?
Has anyone here successfully used Team Access with a remote team member based in another country?
I would really appreciate advice from experienced UK eBay sellers before I set this up.
Thanks!

·3 weeks agoYes, you can share access for only listing creation, customer service, and SEO. but he doesn't manage your full stock. like store health.
