E/Bay fraud department
Has any body brought a motor of E/Bay web site & found that e/bay has commited fraud by allowing a scrap car to be sold on there site what action should be taken to get my money back from E/Bay fraudsters confirmed By DVLA

·2 months agoIf you have been sold a car which the DVLA has confirmed was reported as scrapped it could be due to a number of potential scenarios - most, if not all, illegal.
eBay will not help you on this. Your best route to try and recover your costs would be through your local Trading Standards Office who are usually pretty hot on motor dealers selling unsafe or illegal vehicles.
Contact your local Citizens Advice office, the number can be found through Google, and explain the situation to them. They will provide you with the details to report your experience to the Trading Standards Office. Scrapped or salvaged cars are not allowed to be sold for cash so hopefully you paid by cheque or bank transfer. If you did pay by cash this is another offence by the seller although it will make Trading Standards' job of tracking the seller and your money more difficult.

section 2 of the user agreement also absolves eBay of having any knowledge of what the product being sold is
