Advise regarding car purchase

I know I have done everything wrong but wondering if anyone can help. I assumed ebay veted all their business sellers so went ahead and brought a car. Item has been deleted which doesn’t help, I also paid to a Ltd company by bank transfer. Subsequently car has problems and of course seller won’t respond and one of the contacts on his official advert informed me that he has used their company details illegally? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

·2 weeks agoAs advised, and for information > Never pay directly for a Vehicle (not even a Deposit) until you visited and inspected the Vehicle --- if a sale is agreed, only pay by Cash or Bank Transfer but remember that there is absolutely NO Buyer Protection offered on Vehicles no matter how you pay --- Stay safe.

·2 weeks agoThere is nothing you can do on ebay but contact your bank and see if they can help. If not you could try the small claims court, now called money claim online. Also report the seller to Trading Standards. Best of luck.
