Opening basket closes the app on my iPhone
Summary: Several users, including jayna48, reported that when they try to access their basket on a shopping app using an iPhone, the app crashes. when I have an item in my basket on my iPhone and try to open the basket it immediately closes the app I have tried deleting an reinstalling app (turning phone off and back on in meantime) and still the problem persists

OP1 month agoStill happening Have reinstalled app a few times turned phone off and back on each time. Ok on my lap top but the problem persists on my iPhone. Have cleared cache (Also in safari) checked to make sure I have sufficient free memory but no change the problem persists.

It has been reported to tech and a ticket is opened. I will get you added to the ticket. They are currently investigating and once they provide further updates I will post back.
For anyone experiencing this issue and adding to this thread please let me know your exact device you use to access the eBay app and I'll get you added to the ticket.
In the meantime as a workaround you should be able to access the basket through desktop/pc or web browser.

Thank you for your posts.
Is this issue still happening for users this morning? Can you try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if it helps to resolve it. If it still occurs after this can you report it through the app by shaking your phone. A pop up to report a technical issue will appear. This will be the quickest way to get it reported to the app team.

I was also blocked from bidding on an item that sold very cheap for what it was so I presume a lot of people are having problems
