Ebay for charity blue & yellow ribbon not showing on listings
I have been working for a local charity running their ebay store for the last 3 months. We have nearly 400 listings, and we are set up as a charity on ebay and we pay the 1.1% charity fee rate. I have just noticed however that most of the items I have listed do not show the "benefits charity" ribbon and when i select the "benefits charity search filter only a handful of the listed items show up. Am I doing something wrong when listing items? We are getting the reduced charity fee rate of 1.1% when items sell so ebay must recognise them as charity listings, but most of the items listed are not showing the ribbon. Is there a drop down I need to select when listing so that the ribbon displays and it is clear to buyers that the listings are for charity? Also, if I am missing a step when listing, am I able to go back and bulk edit the charity's listings to amend these listings in order to get them to display the ebay for charity ribbon? Would it be possible to check when you are creating new listings the template that you are copying it from. It looks like the description template in the listings that have the charity ribbon have the charity details on the top of the description part. Those listings without the charity ribbon don't have that description template.

When listing an item I find a listing that has sold and then select sell similar.

Thanks for coming back.
The next time you are listing a new item can you make sure the item sold you select sell similar on, is one of the listings that has the ribbon on it so that its that template that it copies.

Thanks for the reply. When listing today i used sell similar on some of our existing listings that already had the ribbon on it and the new listings created now have the ribbon and "benefits charity" information on them, so thanks for your advice on that.
I just now have a couple more questions:
Is there any way I can amend the 380 or so listings we have that have already been listed that don't have the ribbon to show the ribbon and "benefits charity" information?
My standard method of listing is finding similar items that have sold over the past 90 days, and then using sell similar. This really helps cut down on listing time which is as you will appreciate very important as we have a large volume of donations to list. However the vast majority of the sold listings that I use sell similar on are not charity listings, so is there a way to add the "benefits charity" info to the item specifics when using sell similar from a non-charity listing?

I understand it may be a bit of a pain and time consuming but it doesn't look like it would be possible to revise them in bulk.
From what was checked when going in to revise one listing that has the ribbons and one that doesn't the charity information selected (at the bottom) was the same on both. No differences between item specifics either. What does look to be different is the custom template for the description so it may be that an older one was used for earlier listings that had charity details. You could try revising a listing that does not have the ribbons and copy the custom template from one that does and see if that works.
Any new listings created going forward just make sure you are doing sell similar with a listing that has the ribbons.
