I bought an excercise bike recently on Gumtree - the first time I've ever bought anything on there.
The listing had only been up for 4 minutes when I found it. I emailed the seller and they delivered the bike round my house the next day. It was practically brand new. Paid in cash ...bargain!
I was thinking I might have a go at selling a few bits on there myself soon. I suppose it's like everything else where there's money involved, you just have to keep your wits about you.
