Just had an email...
From ebay "Hi, are you still using your account? If not, we'll close it in 30 days"????????????????
They said all I had to do was sign in. I was already signd in!
Soooo, I signed out and signed in again!
Anyone else had one?

OP3 weeks agoThe address the email came from was ebay@ebay.com So I'd assume it was a genuine mail from ebay not a scammer.

Ebay does use 'eBay @ eBay.com' for some notifications relating to the UK site (sales/order/delivery notifications) for some reason.

It does appear as though the email was genuine then.
So we all need to use the 'Comment' button just to appease those who can't cope with the threaded format instead of using the forum in the way it's intended? Using the 'Comment' button without tagging the person you are responding to may mean that they don't get notified (depending on how their notifications are set up). Also, using the 'Comment' button doesn't really work in a thread with lots of replies unless people remember to reference the post they are replying to (a shory thread such as this isn't so bad).

As far as I'm aware My ebay IDs have been with ebay.co.uk. I've been "on" ebay since before 2000.
Yes, I was addressed by the name I use on ebay. (I have two Christian names).

·3 weeks agoPresumably you are signed into eBay uk. But the email refers to eBay.com which is something. Do you have a separate eBay.com account?

What was the email address it was from?
