Bloomin eck! Who is still here and who has gone? …
Just wondering really. I know them days are gone but surely some people remain.
must admit to being rather mindblown to find FH&G still here.

·7 months agoI'm not a member of this group, but when I first bought a laptop {2011} there used to be an Ebay forum of worldwide members that was very active, and then it stopped a few years later.
The Ebay 'Community' boards are very helpful, and I remember one person, 'Gallovidian' { If I remember correctly} who was very helpful with an issue I'd had of not knowing the machinations of how to deal with an item that had arrived visibly broken. {I was new to Ebay}
His advice was always accurate. Haven't seen his posts for a while.

·7 months agoCan't see a way to edit..By ''Visibly broken'' {Package} I should have said it was obviously broken as the postman was handing it to me, with bits of picture glass sliding around inside and the long package was bowed.

·10 months agoJust looking at your steam train videos there, I booked my daughters a compartment on the Jacobite for the younger ones birthday. They went from Fort William to Mallaig over the Glenfinnan viaduct . We have holidayed in both numerous times and know them well but the train was a treat

·10 months agoYes, it's a good run on that route, both for the steam and the scenery.
Here's "Spring" in that series of paintings. I'll have to do "Summer" and "Autumn" in separate posts...
peteryola
·10 months agoHere is "Summer".
The most awkward thing about doing this set was making sure the tree was exactly the same - apart from the obvious seasonal differences - in each painting.
peteryola
·10 months ago...and here is "Autumn", which is the one most people seem to like best out of the four, although "Winter" is a very close second.

·10 months agoI had built up 100 saved sellers with notifications on all for newly listed.
For 12 months or more i have only had "notificiations from your favourite sellers" on 5sellers.
When i went through the list 95 had not listed anything, nor bought for over a year.

What on Earth happened to you? You just went silent all of a sudden - I was worried...

·10 months agoPeter!!
How are you?? The family?
Nothing happened, we just all fell by the wayside☹️
I have only JUST got a notification you replied😄
peteryola
·10 months agoOh heck.... so even the notifications don't work now!!
I'm still chasing trains and doing paintings and all that, but I haven't been working since January* - so don't try mailing my work e-address; then again the most recent one you had wouldn't have worked anyway as we had two changes of ownership since you last used it... My home one is still the same if you've still got that...
Kids are a bit bigger now; daughter works in a care home five minutes walk from the house; son's just started at university... so it's all change round here...!!
*Market seems to be very tight at the moment so I'm just starting to try my hand at writing, see what happens.

·10 months agoSorry Merlin - I forgot the attachment on my last post; this is one of my recent paintings - and it's from an area not far from you, Gallowgate, albeit it's in Victorian times...

·10 months agoGosh the children have grown! University & working, we arent old enough to have children that age are we?
I suppose we are😁
Mine have all flown the nest and loving life. All 3 graduated and they all love to travel and do so as much as work allows. Oldest is off to South Africa in 2 weeks for a month. Her work sent her originally 2 years ago and she has been back a couple of times, this time is for pleasure.
I'm same old same old!

·1 year agoHi Biker,
Don't know if you will remember me, I spent far more time on Q&A and then Seller Central. I think our pets all featured on the CINNERS calendar, which I found the other day...
I'm not still here, just coincidentally happened to take a look in the day after you posted and was amazed to see a familiar name
barefoot.biker
OP1 year agoGoodness yes the calendar had my beautiful Alice and Mr Trueblue both long gone now😩 I too still have the calendar.
waves and feels a pang of nostalgia they were fabulous times 💕

Hi - long time no post.
Sad news today, Posh went on her final sleep. Somehow she managed to contract sepsis and despite the determined efforts of Corado, our vet, the kindest thing has been to have her put to sleep.
barefoot.biker
OP1 year agoSo sorry to read about posh.
hope your all well 💕
