      Gifs, pics and graphics

Now that we’re legitimate again, we could use a place for folk to post pics, graphics and animations that they’d like others to see. And this could be the very place. There’s only one rule. . . . . . don’t break any of the rules. Happy posting!

How do I pay for ebay postage labels with Paypal?

I've always paid for my ebay postage labels with Paypal and this enables me to keep track of postage costs for HMRC as they get charged to my Amex account. Ebay have now defaulted label costs to come from available funds. I now don't know how I can easily track postage costs. If I don't have availanle funds it will take it from Paypal. This mixture of cheging between available funds and Paypal makes monitoring difficult. Ebay say you can default to Paypal payment but I've been through all the help menus and I can't find how to do it. Can anyone help please?

Concierge service was removed without explanation. 26 years eBay business account. Why???

The concierge service was removed without any explanation. After 26 years of running an eBay business account, they removed me from concierge on September 2nd, and coincidentally, September and October have been my worst months of the year for sales. I want to understand what eBay has done to my business and how I can get things back on track, including restoring the concierge service. Just to clarify, I am working seven days a week on my eBay shop and have two eBay business. I have also spoke on the phone today for 2hrs and I was not told how or why. Bizarre was to tread hard working, honest ebay business sellers.

Looking for "Nursery Play Rhymes" book version

Hello everyone! I am looking for a specific book from 1991 titled " Nursery Play Rhymes – Book and Video Pack ", published by Video Collection International and illustrated by Jenny Press. The book seems to be incredibly rare and almost impossible to find online. The only digital trace I could find is this library catalog record: https://stgeorgeslibraries.opac.ar/pergamo/documento.php?ui=20&recno=20183 I am looking for someone who owns this book or has access to it. Because on this book there is a specific illustration inside: it features four bananas in pyjamas going down the stairs to chase three teddy bears. - One banana is wearing red-and-white striped pyjamas - One is wearing green-and-white striped pyjamas - The other two are wearing the classic blue-and-white striped pyjamas Does anyone happen to have this book to be uploaded on eBay? Thanks!

The Trapdoor Ledger: How eBay Support Put Me on "Hold" and Cleaned Out My Bank Account for Charity

Hello everyone, I wanted to share a cautionary tale about how eBay’s modern managed payments ledger and conflicting automated timelines can turn an honest seller into a financial hostage—even when you do absolutely everything by the book. As a regular seller who volunteers my spare time to list items to raise funds for the Epilepsy Society and Cancer Research, I thought I understood how the platform worked. I was wrong. I didn’t account for the "Trapdoor Ledger." The Setup Back in February, I sold a used camera. The buyer turned out to be incredibly aggressive, refused all polite technical setup guidance, and opened a "Not as Described" return. Standard stuff so far. I reached out to eBay Customer Support, laid out the member behavior policy violations, and a human agent explicitly told me to wait because they were placing the case on a formal investigation hold. I followed instructions. I waited. The Trapdoor Drops While I was patiently waiting for the human investigation, eBay’s background automated timer didn't care. The bot timed out, bypassed the support hold, auto-closed the case in the buyer’s favor, and issued a full refund out of my funds. Because I had already withdrawn my legitimate earnings into my personal bank account, my eBay balance instantly dropped into a negative deficit. Here is where the accounting gets genuinely dystopian. Did the system pause the charity donation? No. The automated system processed the charity donation deduction anyway, adding it directly to the negative balance. The Raid on My Bank Account Because the ledger was now in a forced deficit due to a timeline glitch, eBay executed an automatic clawback directly from my personal bank account via Direct Debit to balance their books. They literally reached into my real-world wallet to extract cash to pay for a deficit caused by their own conflicting instructions. The Corporate Doublespeak Circus I fought this up the chain via email. The responses from customer service have been a masterclass in contradiction: Agent 1 literally admitted the glitch in writing, stating: "As I can check we had asked you to facilitate the return on 14th February and placed the case on hold, as the buyer did not get the response the case was automatically closed in their favor." (Yes, you read that right. He openly admitted they told me to wait, and then penalized me because the bot didn't get a response). He then helpfully suggested I leave Positive Feedback for the fraudulent buyer. The Escalation Manager then stepped in to cover for the bot. He ignored his colleague's written admission, claimed "there was no glitch," and stated that raiding my bank account to cover a charity deficit caused by their own bad instructions was "by design." They flatly refused a manual courtesy credit to fix the cash deficit they forced onto me. The Moral of the Story eBay has built a multi-billion-pound automated system where the left hand actively cuts off the right hand, and when a glitch occurs, their policy is to finance the error using the seller’s private bank account. They count on us being too tired or too busy to fight back. I am not rolling over. As eBay refuses to issue a simple manual credit to correct a loss caused by their own contradictory instructions, I am taking the controls away from them entirely and initiating a formal Direct Debit Indemnity Claim with my bank today to claw my cash back. Watch your wallets out there, folks. If support tells you to "wait," check your bank links—because the bots are always running in the background, and they are hungry
