You can no longer trust what sellers say on their items sales page, for instance I was looking for croaking frog fidget toys for the kids, there are quite a few people selling them, but as I know from previous experience is is always best to ask the seller questions before buying. (I am talking about new products from retailers, not private sellers selling used items, in fact private sellers are more honest that the retail sellers on ebay most of the time). Look at this picture (below), as you can see it says at the top "4 pieces", so you would expect to get 4 items, that was good for me as I wanted 4.So I contacted the seller to confirm, and guess what, he is only selling one piece, not four. Found another seller saying in the main picture they are selling 2, when I asked them again guess what, its just one again.They never say on there page in the description how many you are buying, but they will say 2 or 4 etc on the main image (and no drop down menu to select how many you want), so if you was to buy thinking your going to get 2 or 4 your going to be disappointed as you will receive just one.Informed ebay as those sellers are misleading us customers, just got a reply, it said "We looked into your report and didn’t find the listing to be in violation of our policy. This determination was made by a customer service agent"So I guess ebay just dont care.I did also ask the sellers to remove the main photo saying how many (as that is not what you will get), but they never did, I guess they know they can get away with doing it.Yet another reason to buy from amazon instead as they dont have these sort of issues (and thats what I just did)
