Will eBay remove feedback if I mention the item was relisted elsewhere?
The seller marked the item as dispatched, then later the same day they cancelled the order. The next day the item appeared for sale on another site. In leaving feedback, is it ok to mention the seller listed the item elsewhere, as long as I don't name the site?

What reason did they give for the cancellation?

OP3 weeks agoThey put 'item out of stock or damaged', but no accompanying message with any further information. As they had marked dispatched, I politely asked them what had happened to the item. They said they'd 'decided not to sell '.... in other words, 'not on eBay... but I intend to immediately go & list it elsewhere!'

OP3 weeks agoYes - although it would be good to be able to make others aware of the real reason the order was cancelled - as well as letting the seller know I know exactly what they were up to!
Beats me why an experienced seller of 20+ years, with 100% fb, would risk a defect + negative fb, for the sake of not much more than £20 extra...
