Unsafe deliveries
How do i go about getting a refund for an unsafe delivery made by Evri , that was stolen from my front door. Seller was totally unhelp, and Ebay solved situation in favour of seller, how is this fair ? Thanks in advance

·1 month agoBasically - ebay tend to believe any evidence of delivery as supplied by the couriers. This is unfortunately a downside - as clearly doorstep theft will sadly occur in some areas.
ebay won't help - you should be able to make a claim with your payment provider - depends who that is.

·1 month agoStolen items unfortunately happen all too often, but a seller's responsibility is for their tracking of the item to show delivery to your address, and they nor eBay cannot be responsible for where a courier leaves an item.
An eBay case for item not received will close in the seller's favour if they have tracking to show delivery.
Some peeps have had success claiming from house insurance for a stolen item, or try Evri, I understand it's not easy getting through to their Customer Services, but you need to prove to them the item was left in an unsafe place by their courier, see what they say.
