Unrecognised transaction after 2 hours of Purchase
£19.78 were withdrawn from my HSBC card just 2 hours after I bought perfume from seller on Ebay with the same card.

OP2 weeks agoOn July 16, I bought Mont Blanc Explorer perfume. This is my second purchase of this perfume. I am very satisfied - good product. I made a purchase with my credit card *** 1770. However, at 20.45, another amount of £19.78 was debited from this card. I did not contact seller, and asked HSBC that this amount be recognised by a transaction, and they blocked this card and issued me a new card. HSBC promised that the money would be returned to me in 2 weeks and this transaction has a pending status. Today, this status has changed to the usual. But I didn't buy anything from you except perfume for £63.95. Who made a purchase of £19.78 using my credit card. This happened 3 hours after the transaction - the purchase of perfume for 63.95.

·2 weeks agoUnless you made a direct card payment outside of eBay to this seller (which you wouldn't have done, you would've paid via eBay checkout) the seller would have no access to your card details.
Is the £19.78 an eBay payment? If so, have you contacted eBay and asked them what it was for?
