Trying to bid on an item unsuccessfully.

I just lost out on an auction as every time I was trying to submit a bid I was getting an automated message saying the item wasn't eligible for Uk shipping. The seller was in Liverpool, the advert said shipping available for 拢 3.50 and I am in Milton Keynes. It was very frustrating as this has never happened to me before. Is this a general problem any one else has experienced?

路1 week agoThe trouble is now that people who were told the seller doesn't ship to uk ,those buyers have gone because they have got fed up, to lose 6 bids on different items all over 拢14 is alot of money to lose .

路2 weeks agoIve withdrawn all my auctions and cancelled 9 sales due to this "error"
the thing is..I wouldn鈥檛 have known this was an issue ,if a kind buyer hadn鈥檛 informed me that he couldn鈥檛 bid.
My concern is that its happened before ( low price on high ticket items and absolutely NO last minute bids)

If I were a seller , I鈥檇 be furious.
A buyer, pretty miffed .
That last minute bid will not happen .
Where are EBay ?

路2 weeks agoIve just been contacted by someone trying to bid on my items i have for sale and they are getting the, this item cant be sent to the UK message. Does anyone know if they are aware of this issue? My auctions end tonight and I will miss out of potential bids now 馃槩

路2 weeks agoSame here . EBay has been playing up for 3 days . Seemed to be okay today ; until I try and bid . Cannot sell to UK from a UK seller to a UK address (?)
Frustrating for buyers - more so for sellers !
EBay always deny any issues .

路2 weeks agoYes the same here. Everything worked earlier and now most items will not allow me to bid as it says item cannot be sold to the uk. The sellers are all in the uk and do not have it as a country they will not send to. Tried the useless eBay help line which is AI and not a human. Hopefully eBay uk will see these messages and fix it

These problems always seem to crop up Monday evenings. There was one about a month ago where an error would appear when you click in the box to enter your bid amount.
Any seller with auctions ending right now is getting screwed.
