I have a question regarding shipping and tracking on my TrendNest account.
Initially, I used eBay platform shipping with a 2-day shipping policy. Later, I changed the order to Shipped by Seller, but I did not change the courier. The actual courier is Evri.
Now I need to upload the tracking number, but I want to confirm something:
Since the order is now marked as Shipped by Seller, can I upload the Evri tracking number normally? Or do I need to use another supported carrier such as UPS or USPS?
I want to make sure I upload the correct tracking information and do not cause any issue with my account or seller performance.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

·1 month agoAll your recent sales were setup as Custom Postage - so there, you would be able to supply the tracking number.
The most recent item is Simple Delivery - if that sells, you cannot update the tracking number to an alternative - as Simple Delivery is mandatory for most Private Seller sales now.
You need to explain what you are trying to do with ebay first.
Currently, you are only listing a used charging cable. But you have previously sold new items and your description certainly sounds like you intend to run a business. If you are - you are on the wrong account type.

OP1 month agoWhen I created the account, it was initially set to Shipped by Platform, and 3 orders came through that setup. Later, I changed it to Shipped by Seller, but I did not change the courier, so Evri is still selected.
Now I have received orders under Shipped by Seller. My question is: since these orders are already under Shipped by Seller and Evri is currently selected, can I upload UPS tracking numbers for these orders?
I am planning to change my shipping policy/courier to UPS for future orders, but I want to know if I can use UPS tracking for the orders I have already received while Evri is still selected.

·1 month agoSorry but all these terms you are using don't really make a lot of sense and aren't ebay terms.
As a Private Seller - you generally use Simple Delivery (where ebay provide the label to you, either with the buyer paying postage or you state Free Delivery and you pay for the label). You cannot update the tracking label here. You can choose another courier but that will be at your own cost and there will be a delay to payment of around 14 days.
If the item is under £20, under 100g, large letter or less and in a relevant onsite category, you may be able to select Custom Postage where you can set your own postage cost and choose your courier.
However, you will be limited in what listings you can actually update to Custom Postage on - as Simple Delivery is pretty much mandatory for Private Sellers.
So again - if you are intending to actually trade on this account - you need to upgrade to a Business Seller account.
