Should a vendor be able to abuse cancellation policy ?
Vendor has cancelled my order using "Damaged goods or out of stock" on cancelled order form. Vendor has actually sent me a message stating " Sorry didn't get enough money so cancelled your order." Is this acceptable ? After all on occasions we may all get less for an item than we hoped. But that's what an auction without reserve is. It's what we use on ebay.

As far as doing this type of thing goes, it is unethical in my book but they at least sent you a message to be straight with you about why they were doing it.
It doesn’t do their eBay account any good at all so in the long run it may cost them on other auctions if they are continuing to sell. eBay aren’t going to push items for sellers who waste traffic.
