Preorder item not received.

Preordered the film Aftersun 4K back in May 2026 , with a release date of the 31st July , costing me £93.00. In the description it states that you will receive a confirmation letter for your order , and this was the “delivered item” I received closing out the loop.
Have chased many times and have had a few responses ( one claiming that the weather prevented the forwarding as was coming from Korea ) but am now getting nothing , and am struggling to contact ebay as over 30 days ago for the buyer protection.
Can anyone advise how i go about getting a refund ?

·3 weeks agoCheck Ebay's policy on pre orders. Your seller broke that policy with the time before release, and then conned you with a fake delivery. You should have opened a claim for item not as described when you got the letter. They knew exactly what they were doing, and relied on you not understanding a number of policies.

I would imagine given they had to ship something immediately they weren’t even a business but a private seller so you’ve got no chance.
