·2 weeks agoIf you are happy to change the feedback because of a partial refund you could tell the seller that you will only do so after you have received it.

OP2 weeks agoProblem I have us that this seller has broken one of eBay policies by offering a partial refund if I remove my negative feedback that is just like blackmail that isn't a goodwill jusyer or being sorry that the item arrived damaged so I reported the seller whose to say that he's done this multiple times the packaging was poor the seller could of done more to protect the item, thank you for your comment 👍

·2 weeks agoThis is often a ploy seen here on the forums. Promise of a partial refund if you remove the feedback.
If you remove the feedback - there is nothing to enforce a partial refund and you can't then leave further feedback. It is possible the seller knows this and it is what they intend to do.
The only thing you can do with certainty is to open an item arrived damaged or item not as described return request.
Heck if this was a private seller and they used Simple Delivery then if you open an item arrived damaged case - ebay take over and will just refund you without a need for a refund.
But if you open an item not as described case - the seller HAS to provide a return label at their cost for you to return the item for a full refund.
