order not requiring feedback?
Summary: kathdotk is puzzled by a purchase on eBay where they only received one item from a set of four. They are unable to find the seller, message them, or see the order in their purchase history, which prevents them from leaving feedback. **peaseblossom** suggested that kathdotk might have bought the item as a guest, explaining the issues with visibility and feedback, and advised them to open a 'not as described' return.
Hi, I bought an item which should have been a set of four but only one arrived. Weirdly though, it's not easy to find the seller on ebay - I can only find him via the emails ebay sends to tell you something's been dispatched or whatever - nor does the order appear in my purchase history, nor can I leave feedback. The seller appears to still be on ebay but I can't message them - it just goes back to the general page when I try. I assumed that maybe he'd left ebay, but the purchase would still show in my history? Does anyone recognise this situation or know what's happened? It wasn't an expensive item, so it's not now so much about the money - it's more me just being mystified. Thanks.

·1 month agoYou may have bought without being logged in so would be classed as "guest" buyer. Details here:

You'd have to open a "not as described" return rather than a "not received" case.
