LISTING FOR ITEM I WAS BIDDING ON JUST GONE ?.
Summary: punkwroc77 expressed frustration over a bid on a record that disappeared without a trace. They noted that the auction was active with at least two bids and questioned how it could vanish without records. jonatjonatjonat responded, explaining that auctions can be stopped if there are more than 12 hours remaining.
I put in a bid on a Record that was on day 7 of a 10 day listing a few seconds later someone put in a bid against me . I upped the bid and and a few hours later I was still the highest bidder so left it at that. The auction was ending today but when I checked to see what the bids were at the listing was no longer there. There was nothing to say I had been outbid . There was nothing about the listing in the bids section and it was not in "didn't win " either . The listing was not shown as ended .
How can an active listing with at least 2 bids just vanish like that and there be no trace ?.
I can't even remember who the Seller was except that it was a charity shop, would they have kept the Record on sale at the same time ? as listing it on Ebay ?, but surely if they had ended the listing or I had been out bid there would still have been a records of it ?
So annoying.

Β·Sep 10, 2026 at 2:31 PMIf they had ended the listing then you would still be able to see it. If it has completely vanished then that means that ebay have removed the listing so they probably decided/thought it was a bootleg or pirate of some dsescription.
