items not delivered
Summary: shinbukancolin expresses frustration over missing deliveries marked as 'Delivered' with no sign of the items. They question if sellers are using unreliable delivery services. podlingsmum prefers using Royal Mail instead of other couriers and utilizes click and collect to avoid issues. tressygirl notes that delivery success often depends on the local courier and suggests avoiding unreliable couriers by communicating with sellers. The participant highlights that experiences can vary widely based on individual delivery personnel.
I have recently purchased a couple of items that I have found to be marked as ' Delivered '
But absolutely no sign of them . No notes through the door. Not at neighbours
What the hell is happening with these deliveries ? Do these idiots these sellers use just throw the packages anywhere outside and class this as a delivery?
Have been using eBay for many years and it is about time the onus of proper deliveries were put onto sellers
We shouldn't be chasing packages up because of really poor delivery services

·1 month agoSuccessful deliveries by couriers solely depends on the driver / courier person you have in your area.
Were these purchases from one particular courier, say Evri or Yodel ?
All I can suggest if it is one courier, try and avoid those on a seller's listing, or message the seller to ask would it be possible to delist that courier from their postage options as you have a very unreliable person in your area.
Evri for example, gets a bad name, but I must be one of the lucky ones, as my Evri person is 100% reliable , it truly depends ( sadly) on the person delivering for whichever company, in your area.

·1 month agoThis is why I only use Royal Mail as a seller, not Evri. If as a buyer the delivery looks like it's going to be Evri, I then opt for click and collect on the purchase.
