Item Location & Drop Shipping

I know drop-shipping is allowed on EBAY but it has now got to such a pitch that you see an item that is supposed to be in Leeds when actually in Shenzen China ! I think EBAY should make drop-ship sellers indicate this, as many times I have looked at the location and thought 'thats okay it is in UK and wont take long'.

If the seller is dropshipping (in the legitimate sense, i.e. by having a formal agreement with their supplier) then they are still required to show the items correct location and an accurate delivery timeframe in the listing. If you feel that they are not doing that then you can report them/the listing for item location misrepresentation.

If they are just listing the item on eBay and then purchasing the item from another retailer or marketplace and having it sent direct to you then that is not allowed on eBay.
