Item left downstairs and got stolen. Do I have any chance to recover my money?
Hi.
EVRI courier delivered the parcel downstairs as the photo shows, and wrote that he delivered it to neighbour from flat 70 called Sai. Parcel is not there, neither anybody by this name lives in flat 70 or got my parcel.
Is there any way to win a dispute or Buyer's Protection doesn't work in such situation?

·Jul 9, 2026 at 5:26 PMBuyer Protection, in my humble opinion, is so badly named, it does not paly a part here, but eBay's MBG, Money Back Guarantee does.
If the seller can prove that tracking has shown delivery, then eBay or the seller will not refund you, as they have no decision on where a courier may leave an item at the correct designated address.
You can try your payment provider or house insurance, thought not sure if that will cover stolen items outside a domicle?
Worth opening a case for item not received, but as said, if there's tracking to show delivery, you will not receive a refund from eBay.
