Item cancelled too late. No reply from company. Payment was taken, it was posted but it never arrived.
I cancelled an order having just purchased it. The buyer said it was too late and showed that it had been posted but it never arrived. It is untracked. No one answers the phone or replies to my emails. The company is called Metropolis Interiors. The 30 day window to claim through EBay has closed. How do I get my money back ? Thanks for any advice. I have gone through my bank now but not sure what will happen.

·1 month agoGiven 30 days has passed - ebay won't help you. There is only a 30 day window to claim under the money back guarantee.
You'll have to see what happens via your payment provider but provided you can show evidence nothing arrived (and if it was sent untracked - this is normally enough) you should get your money back.

OP1 month agoThank you so much. I have contacted the bank and can show them the non-delivery status by Royal Mail. I should have contacted EBay before 30 days were up, as you said. Thanks again for such a fast reply!
