Hi,
To be honest, as a disabled user of eBay, I am getting tired of items being 'Dispatched Untracked'. This is never declared on the original listing. If it did, I would move on to a seller offering a trackable service. I need to manage the delivery so that I can retrieve my item safely. I have mobility issues, so I like to instruct courier's to leave on a trunk inside my back gate. Instead, all they do is either - ram it through the letter box/ leave at front door and not knock and wait/ fob it off on a random neighbour. If it is left at the front door, it is highly likely that it will be stolen as my door is visible from the public footpath.
With all the variety of deliveries on offer, delivering a fairly bulky parcel via 'Untracked Delivery' should be removed.

·3 weeks agoVery few sellers will risk untracked postage for something that won't go through a letter box. I am surprised this is such an issue for you.

OP2 weeks agoWhy do you find this is so 'surprising' ?. It is only because I use a rollator inside my tiny home, and a power wheelchair outside. My garden is large at the back, which enables me to move more freely. My back gate is near to my back door, hence I use the 'manage my delivery' facility to instruct couriers to leave inside back gate. When I began eBay over 20 years ago, my legs were perfect. Unfortunately, diabetes and cancer chemotherapy treatment had a detrimental effect on peripheral nerves in my legs. I am quite often in acute pain. There are many buyers who do not like items left at the front of the house, in full view of opportunist thieves. It often happens in our area, unfortunately .....
