eBay scam
What to do if eBay refuse me to help,the parcel is lost. Simple delivery doesn't cover that. It's this is legal scam?

OPJul 18, 2026 at 2:26 PMSimple,parcel is not delivered but on tracking showing that it is. But its says left outside a building. It's lots by courier.whats men that it's left without my permission. Next Day I came home and it's not there. Obviously becoming it's dumped on street..... eBay said it's not they responsibility. Courier says it's eBay. I haven't organised delivery,I can't claim from evri. So it's legal scam

You open item not received case.
However if the tracking shows it was delivered but you can’t find it (ie stolen after delivery) then that is where things fail. You’d instead claim via your payment method

I contacted evri.evri said it's don to eBay,seller is not responsible because it's simple delivery. eBay because it's shows delivered and it's dumped out side. Not handed not botheres. So what's mean eBay is a scam place. On phone guy is shouting on me. Wtf how and why is it a customer service

·Jul 18, 2026 at 2:33 PMIt's not a scam, neither eBay nor the seller can guarantee or tell a courier where to leave an item, and yes some are left in an unsafe place, and they can get stolen. This is the courier , Evri's issue.
Try your payment provider see if they can help with a refund.
Wrong for a CS agent to shout, it's unusual as they are usually very civil when talking, how and what did you say to them to make them so angry, as said, they have no reason to shout? !

OPJul 18, 2026 at 2:42 PMWell it's just proving that this is not working.if I would have a choice to claim from couriers direct. Would be easier. This is just made to make a problem. I think it's not legal. Still eBay should be liable for this,they got contracts with courier. Pull money back from bank it's not the way. Problem must be sorted in beginning. If I buy something fo eBay they are liable for it to deliver. Instead for all this can be explained,and investigated. They could tell me sorry,and we will open a case to investigate,and when evri will confirm it's lost. eBay should refund.

The seller used Evri, paid extra to use a tracked service, that tracking showed delivery.
It's up to the Evri delivery person, to either place it in a safe place, or with neighbours or take it back to their depot to try again another day.
Have you asked your neighbours and household members? It does happen that people can forget to tell you they have your item.

They left the item in an unsafe place, visible to passers by and someone stole it.

OPJul 18, 2026 at 2:46 PMThe guy on phone clearly stated that he is the man to sort,and he told me that he is not bothered to do. Simple because it's showing delivered. And was rising his voice. I do a lot of purchases on eBay,and delivery do it all the time. Customers should have their options,not just a lost parcels ,and refusing to help
