eBay A.I misleading listings.
I have been with eBay UK for 24 years with 100% perfect feedback as a private buyer and seller.
If I am considering a purchase, I look at the listing and images but now I'm heartily sick of seeing stock photos which are obviously not of the item for sale and worse, the outright lies and misdirections being used to promote sales.
I recently went looking for a newer more modern Android Smartwatch. It's a minefield of lies and confusion.
Watches listed as used are often A.I listed as 12 month manufacturers guarantee, a black smartwatch listed as silver, plastic straps listed as metal etc, etc. I could go on for a while mentioning the dross that eBay A.I listings have become.
The only option open to me now is to move on immediately from A.I slop listings or look elsewhere. If the seller can't at least add the GENUINE condition of the item, I won't consider it for a second.

I can only assume that if the childish A.I listing is wrong and I buy an item based on the listing, I have every right to return said item as "not as advertised". Let's hope that very many people do this and force eBay to remove the misleading artificial listings.
I fully understand that some sellers are unable or unwilling to list items by writing about it, (language, spelling etc) but a few lines of human written text goes a long way to reassure potential buyers. Otherwise, don't buy it.
