Contains Gluten. Seller states "handles" (trace amounts) only

I bought a product where the listing description states "handles gluten" ( = may have trace amounts)
The listing Food specifications also does not state Gluten. and so it seems to many buyers that this could be a good product to try.
But when the item arrives, on the back of the label. it states "contains Gluten" (=allot more than trace amounts)
a buyer may not read this as they have already read the info on ebay and made their decision to consume.
i messaged the seller politely, many times, over many weeks, yet they have still not updated their description!
They even expected me to pay return postage. sending me an address in messages. never suggesting i use the return item button for a free label through ebay.
This this is a very big seller. and their .com page >does< state it contains gluten on this item!!
I imagine, therefore, they can get away with this on ebay but not on a .com page?
Any help would be great.
