Contacting Ebay
Summary: sheg496 is experiencing issues with eBay, including frequent password resets and logging problems that identify incorrect device locations. They mistakenly received a vibrator instead of a camera and have been unable to resolve this due to login difficulties. tressygirl suggested checking notifications related to different login locations and provided a link for guest purchase refunds. sheg496 mentioned some progress in contacting the supplier. tressygirl further advised contacting eBay’s Customer Services for persistent login issues.
I’m having all sorts of problems with EBay recently.Every time I try to log in I have to change my password
Due to this I ordered an item as a guest so can’t get details of it up in my purchase history.I ordered a camera, but received a vibrator, yes thats right a vibrator.I have messaged the supplier but haven’t received a reply yet.Every time I try to log in I’m told I have used a new devise.I haven’t changed any for years.I tried everything to contact EBay,but it’s hopeless.
Help please

·3 weeks agoJust out of interest, when you log in are you asked to change your passport because ' someone in a different location' is using your account?
Many receive this odd and at first worrying notification, that you are logging in from an area which is clearly not yours.
I've received this in the past. telling me log in is being made from Birmingham, and I live on the South Coast.
As long as the time you are logging in is correct, then all is well, no need to change passwords, no need to do anything else.
Buying as a guest purchase the link below explains how to start a case for a full refund.

·3 weeks agoAny more issues with accessing your account without having to change your password each time you'll have to contact Customer Services as they have access to your account and will be able to see what the issue is here.
It's not easy to contact an agent at CS, but go to Help & Contact top left of your eBay homepage, and keep typing in... speak to an agent , it can take quite a few attempts!
Best times are around 8 a.m. on weekdays when there's more chance of Dublin answering.
