Can't verify age. Keep getting "Something went wrong, try again later" notice.
Ebays own customer service people told me to use someone elses credit card as I don't have one, but it refuses to accept it (although it has in the past!!!!)
i've tried my billing address / their billing address, using name initials/fullnames, i've even tried making new accounts and its refusing to work
Anyone know how to fix this? god, how i hate this company. i'm trying to buy antique joinery tools! not even weapons!

·2 weeks agoNot necessary to make any payment by Credit Card --- but --- Currently only a ( monthly payment ) Personal named Credit Card entry on file to confirm your age is acceptable to eBay --- nothing else will do !! --- an everyday use Debit Card will not be accepted.
Perhaps a friend or family member can buy on your behalf ?.

eBay mean ask a friend or family member who have a credit card on their eBay account to buy this for you. their card cannot be used on your account for security reasons.

·2 weeks agoTo clarify another persons card can be used to pay for things. It can’t be used for age verification for bladed items.
