Bought a counterfeit football shirt and now the seller is "no longer a valid user". Need help!
Summary: duartez_9 reported purchasing a counterfeit football shirt on eBay, and upon checking the transaction, found that the seller's account is suspended or removed, making direct contact impossible. They are seeking advice on obtaining a refund, particularly through the eBay Money Back Guarantee, and are asking for guidance on how to prompt eBay to intervene quickly.
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a football shirt on eBay, but when it arrived, I realized it is a counterfeit/fake.
To make things worse, when I went to check the transaction, I noticed that the seller is now listed as "no longer a valid user" (their account seems to have been suspended or removed).
Since the seller's account is inactive, I cannot contact them directly. What is the fastest way to get my money back in this situation? Am I still covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee?
Any advice on how to proceed or how to get eBay to step in immediately would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
