Good afternoonDoes anyone know whether the new free returns postage for buyers using eBay Business accounts will affect seller ratings or have they amended this too?I'm asking because we've already seen an increase in returns since the new free returns policy was introduced. Buyers seem to be purchasing items without checking whether they're suitable, as they know they can simply return them for free if they've ordered the wrong part.This is becoming increasingly frustrating for us. We sell marine outboard parts, and we make it as clear as possible in our listings which models the parts fit. We also ask buyers to contact us before purchasing if they're unsure. Despite this, we're now receiving a growing number of returns because buyers have ordered the wrong part.I understand that seller ratings may be based on a percentage of returns, but I'm not certain whether these buyer-initiated returns will have any impact on our performance metrics.We were concerned that this new free returns policy could.Does anyone know if this is the case?Best wishes
