Where has the monetary total gone from the Awaiting Desptach page?
Summary: Participants discussed their frustration over the removal of the monetary total feature from eBay's "Awaiting Dispatch" page, which they relied on for managing sales and accounts. partsdepot_uk mentioned raising this issue with eBay, noting disbelief that such a useful feature would be removed intentionally. jch8025 detailed the inconvenience of manually calculating totals and emphasized the loss of functionality. kat@ebay, presumably an eBay representative, confirmed that a technical team is addressing the issue and promised updates. Participants expressed appreciation for the acknowledgment and looked forward to a resolution.
The "Awaiting Despatch" page has always had a monetary total for the orders at the top of the page, where has it gone? I used that for my accounts.

·5 days agoThank you, Kat, for your official update and for confirming that the issue has been acknowledged and is being worked on by the technical team.
It's reassuring to know that eBay is actively working on restoring the missing totals in Awaiting Dispatch, Sold and Shipped.
I really appreciate you taking the time to clarify the situation and look forward to hearing when the issue has been resolved.
Many thanks again!

Hi All,
Thank you for your posts.
A ticket is open with the tech team for the total amount missing from awaiting dispatch, sold and shipped pages. Its currently being worked on to resolve. Once I have a further update on the fix I will post back on the thread.
Thank you,
Kat

·1 week agoWe've not heard back from ebay but the same issue has also been raised on the US forum and it has been advised that it is (another) technical glitch that is being worked on:

OP1 week agoThanks for your update. It can't be that hard to rectify and place the running total back in it's rightful place.

·1 week agoSame for us as well. Very frustrating, and hopefully a bug and not a new feature!

·1 week agoThe total monetary value has also disappeared from the Sold section when selecting different date ranges. I can still see the individual transactions, but eBay no longer gives me the total value for the selected period.
This is a genuine loss of functionality for sellers, not a cosmetic issue. I used these totals every day to get an immediate overview of how much I had sold and how much stock value was currently waiting to be dispatched.
Previously this information was available instantly. Now sellers are expected to manually add individual orders, use a calculator or download reports just to obtain a basic total that Seller Hub already calculated and displayed perfectly well before.
I cannot see any practical benefit to removing it. It has made Seller Hub slower and less useful for anyone managing a meaningful volume of sales.
If this has happened as part of a redesign, then an important working feature has been lost in the process. If it is a technical fault, I hope eBay treats it as a priority.
Please restore the monetary totals in both Awaiting Dispatch and the Sold section, including totals for the selected date range. These figures are an important part of everyday order management and should never have been removed.

·1 week ago · EditedI think the King at the Ivory Towers is Getting a little bit past himself and as soon as the minions wake up and make a coup the better, What was a pleasurable site to sell has become a complete Joke and not fit for Purpose, Why on earth would you take away this feature the most useful tool on the site, I rang eBay yesterday to try and find out what they are playing at, But more chance of seeing Elvis in Walmart Dressed as Santa!! All This A.I Rubbish will kill and is Killing the Site. People want to talk to Humans not spend Hours trying to Explain yourself to a Bot!. eBay are making it so hard to contact them in the hope people will give up, We won't we will just leave the site and this comes from a 22 year Veteran selling here with over 120,000 Item sold, We Long standing Members Know How to Treat " Our " Customers with Deals, and a Friendly Service. and Know how to deal with postage and returns for our Customers Before you Poked you Noise in Thinking you can do Better When Infact it's a complete disaster I have not Brought off eBay since February and refuse to buy from the site for the way they treat Small Business. Respect works both ways They treat their Sellers with total contempt and walk all over us with their demands and threats they are Constantly displaying on my back office page about Promotions, Ramming down my throat I will not get sales Unless I promote Even when I do!, I Then I get a "Boost Warning" ,The more you keep putting the Begging Bowel out and "Oliver" Comes to Mind the less Likely I' am to Promote at all so Just stop it eBay If I want to Promote I will If I don't I wont. I would sooner give a discount to the customer then line your Pockets as you get Enough In FVF Anyway Wanting more Revenue From Me and leaving Hardly any Meat on the Bone, Revenue on eBay may be up but that not though Sales .So To The share Holders at eBay If you want More revenue you need to listen to your sellers Visibility Is the key if people cant see it they cannot buy it regardless how much promotion or FFV you get some fees are better then no fees, We sellers are not Milking Cows, Greed is and will be your Downfall, Most of us long standing Members would agree with the above statements and One last final Statement you where, are and always will be a third Party stop getting in the way Between Seller and Buyer!!!!

·1 week ago · EditedI came to moan about this. It's the most basic simple thing....but why oh why aren't you showing our totals anymore?? Even if they were a bit weird when you have GSP orders. They have taken away the only thing that gives a seller pleasure! The total value of items getting posted.

·1 week agoWe've raised this issue with ebay.
Why on earth would trhey remove it intentionally!?
goodfella66
OP1 week agoExactly. It's been there for as long as I have been selling on Ebay. It's good to have a running total too.
