When listing, I see an option for Promoted with a cost starting at 2% up with 12% "suggested" common. Each percentage we pay presumably entitles us to an increase in promotional service and I would like to know exactly what I get for each additional % I pay. Does anyone know?

Can confirm its as advised above.You are bidding against all other sellers also setting their listings with a General Promotion.The higher your percentage - the more likely you are to appear, and the more likely you are to appear in higher ranking positions.
