InPost lost a parcel I sent. InPost say contact eBay. Now parcel on Inpost says cancelled by seller? | Business Seller Board

So I sent a parcel and Inpost lost it within a day. The Inpost app says delivery issue contact them, so I called them up and they said they have logged it with eBay that they lost it (which I’m dubious of) and to contact eBay to say it’s lost. Now on the app it says parcel cancelled by seller, I know you need to ask the seller to open an item not received but now I’m concerned that when I update the tracking I’m not going to get a refund as it says on the Inpost app cancelled by seller rather than lost. Any advice would be appreciated.
