I'll spare you all about the 5 times Ive contacted Ebay with no joy about this, other that to say I'd only noticed this unauthourized price increase late on the eve of the 14th of May. Right across my 500+ items the prices have 'strangely' increase either 20 or 40% !?Before you ask , no I have not been playing around with any VAT settings or anything like that. Im guessing that there is a technical issue with the data rather than a hack?Problem is a) Ebay as so slow to actually action anything meaningful and b) Im loosing thousands of pounds ( never mind the reputational damage this will incur.Just sold an item to a UK customer and ( I kid you not ) Ebay are collecting the VAT according to the sales invoice . What ?? Why is this ??Any one have this type of experience??
