EIS Shipping problem (glitch)
Recently been moved over to EIS from GSP. The issue I'm finding is items that new items I list in the electronics category (speakers, amps etc ) are just showing UK only. Even though im enrolled and was told by ebay I wouldn't have to do anything my end for the migration over. Some other categories like CDs for example show the international countries . Anybody else got this issue?

·Sep 12, 2026 at 9:04 AMFor the listings that show UK only, is there any clues when you try to edit the listing under this section? i.e. is it greyed out or are there any notes there?

·Sep 11, 2026 at 6:44 PMI'm having this as well, and I've raised a ticket with CS for it. Listings in the Vintage Computer section seem to have dropped off the new EIS, however if I move the item to the Arcade Gaming for instance, then the item shows up as being available worldwide.
I've not seen any specific mention about this from eBay so I suspect and hope that it's a glitch.

·Sep 12, 2026 at 8:52 AMPart of the problem for me is that in Seller Hub, Manage Active Listings, they haven't updated the filters. It still shows a filter for GSP, with everything listed since eIS was implemented showing as GSP not enabled.
There isn't a filter yet to check if eIS is enabled on listings, making it time consuming to check every listing individually.

·Sep 11, 2026 at 4:32 PMI suspect it's because magnetised materials cannot be sent via eIS.

OPSep 11, 2026 at 4:38 PMThat doesn't make sense. So GSP could send them but EIS can't. That would be a joke

·Sep 11, 2026 at 4:53 PM · EditedMagnetised materials were not specifically prohibited by GSP but they are by eIS. Amps and speakers contain permanent magnets so I would guess that is the reason they can't be sent via eIS.
This is probably due to different restrictions imposed by Pitney Bowes (GSP) and Asendia (eIS).

OPSep 11, 2026 at 5:30 PMI've just looked, some of my old listings in the affected categories have transferred to EIS. So god knows lol

·3 weeks agoI too have been swapped to eIS and now when I list a new item it doesn't give me an option to enable eIS for something. I have also tried listing a different sort of item in a totally different category...still not showing eIS as an option. I have contacted eBAY helpdesk five days ago...no reply or solution yet...??

·3 weeks agoWhat are the items?
The current guidance for item eligibility can be found here. In the FAQs you need to expand the "What types of items can I sell using eBay International Shipping?" and the "Are there any restricted items or categories?" sections.

·3 weeks agoHow recently did this start happening? I'm in Canada and the most recent listing I see for you (178498613655) is supposedly from the last three days. eIS has been applied to it.
