Had a customer this morning in a panic as his item has been delivered yesterday, well that's what eBay tracking told him via an email?
I checked tracking this morning and it's due to be delivered today, I thought it was odd as I know ParcelForce only collected it at midday yesterday, would of been a remarkable "same day" delivery service by them had it actually been delivered to Leeds from Oxford.
Why don't eBay just keep their noses out sometimes? buyer was definitely panicking and has obviously spent some time emailing me and ebay to try and find where it's been delivered too?

·3 weeks agoThere are a large number of very convincing fake eBay emails going around at the moment. I suspect your buyer was a victim of one of these scams and being asked to provide personal or banking details.

·3 weeks agoBecause I had a long conversation with eBay last week after recieving a very convincing scam email, claiming to be from eBay and saying they were charging me extra for postage on an item that had already been delivered.

OP3 weeks agoDefinitely from eBay what he received, my tracking showed exactly the same as his on tracking. AI definitely interpreted delivery to the ParcelForce depot as delivery to the customer? it also said collected by the customer? even more worrying for the buyer.

·3 weeks agoPresumably - that trigger at 12:05 Collected From Your Customer Service Point is triggering something in ebays systems (possibly just the existence of the word 'Collected')
Gather you dropped the parcel off?
Best thing to do is report it to ebay and hope they do something with it.

OP3 weeks agoSometimes we take the ParcelForce parcels to their depot if we have five or more which happened, expect eBay took this as collected by buyer????
