·2 weeks agoWhat reason have you been given for the dispute? Where you stand totally depends on this.

OP2 weeks agoIt states item doesn’t match the advert. I got the manufacturer to send the item and everything on the advert matches what was sent

·2 weeks agoIn that case I am afraid you are going to end up losing the dispute as that type is impossible to win.

OP2 weeks agoHow is that? So I send a brand new machine and nothing wrong with it. Get a dispute six months later. If this happens more regularly I’ll pack in

·2 weeks agoThe best you can do is provide as much detail as possible rebutting the claim, an invoice from the manufacturer, and a copy of the listing the customer bought from showing the same item the manufacturer supplied and shipped. Part numbers, serial numbers, and delivery weight that match the packed weight of the advertised and shipped product. Of course, you will labour the point that the customer never raised an issue with you prior to opening a claim with their card issuer some 6 months later. Then it's in the lap og the gods, just keep your fingers crossed.

·2 weeks agoI'm confused. Seller has a 30 days return policy. How come buyer can ask for NAD after 6 months?

·2 weeks agoI assumed that, given the mention of a 2-8 week decision time, the customer had raised a dispute with his payment provider.

·2 weeks agoIt's a payment dispute with the buyer's payment provider, not an eBay Money Back Guarantee case. That said, the buyer would normally only have 4 months (120 days) from date of purchase for a Chargeback with their Card Issuer or a dispute with Klarna.

OP2 weeks agoThat’s helpful thanks for that. When I phoned eBay and had a chat with them the lady mentioned PayPal is that the same thing.

·2 weeks agoBut you didn't send the item yourself.

·2 weeks agoHow could you possibly know that "everything on the advert matches what was sent" unless you physically sent the item yourself.
Seems like this may be a third party error.
